Cheeseburger sliders cooked on Hawaiian rolls and served casserole-style for a simple and tasty dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard, divided
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, divided
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian bread rolls
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté ground beef and onion until meat is browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease. Add ketchup, 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard, 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Cut the rolls in half horizontally as if you are making sandwiches. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Spread the meat mixture evenly on the bottom halves, top with Monterey Jack cheese, and cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and the remaining Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Microwave for about 1 minute until the butter is melted. Stir well and pour over the rolls.
  • Bake covered for 15 minutes in a preheated oven. Then, uncover and continue baking until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown, for about 10 more minutes.
