Delicious mini sliders with coin-shaped tots as buns and tasty cheeseburgers topped with pickled gherkins for an adorable twist!
Ingredients:
  • 32 frozen potato rounds (such as Ore-Ida® Crispy Crowns®)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces ground beef (85% lean)
  • 0.25 pinch kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, or to taste
  • 16 pickled gherkins, drained
  • 16 toothpicks
Instructions:
  • Warm up the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Coat tots in oil on a 10x15-inch baking pan, then arrange in a single layer.
  • Roast in the oven, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy, for 15 to 18 minutes.
  • Place the ground beef between two sheets of waxed paper and flatten it into a 4x6-inch rectangle. Remove the top sheet and season the beef with salt and pepper. Cut it into sixteen 1x1 1/2-inch rectangles.
  • Take each cheese slice and gently break it into quarters, then elegantly fold each quarter over to create 16 exquisite pieces of double-layered cheese.
  • Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes until one side is nicely cooked. Flip the burgers, add cheese on top, cover and cook until the beef is no longer pink and the cheese has melted, for about 3 minutes.
  • Assemble each tot stack by layering a tot with a cheeseburger, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and another tot, then secure with a toothpick. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
