Savory Tater Tot breakfast casserole with sausage, eggs, and cheese. Prep the night before for an easy morning meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 pounds tater tots
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large, deep skillet, brown the sausage over medium-high heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat and spread the sausage evenly in a 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle cheese over the sausage.
  • In a spacious bowl, whisk together milk and eggs, then pour over cheese. If preferred, refrigerate the casserole overnight at this stage. Finish by topping with tater tots.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, then allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
