Cheesy garlic side: Sprinkle cheeses on dough, roll, bake till golden.
Ingredients:
  • 750.00 ml plain flour
  • 3 tsp instant dried yeast
  • 2.50 gm caster sugar
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 250.00 gm warm water
  • 36.40 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 75g butter, melted
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 500.00 ml grated pizza cheese
  • 50g Danish fetta, crumbled
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center. In a jug, combine water and oil. Pour into the well. Stir with a butter knife until dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rest in a warm spot for 30 minutes.
  • Prepare a 6.5cm-deep, 13cm x 24cm Wiltshire loaf pan by greasing it. Deflate the dough, then transfer it to a lightly floured surface and roll it out into a 25cm x 42cm rectangle. In a bowl, mix butter, garlic, and parsley, then spread half of this mixture over the dough. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups of pizza cheese and 3/4 of the fetta cheese. Roll up the dough tightly from one long side to seal the filling inside. Trim the ends and cut the rolled dough into 5cm-thick slices. Arrange the slices in the prepared pan, ensuring they fit snugly together. Cover the pan and leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan-forced. Sprinkle the dough with the rest of the cheeses and drizzle it with the remaining butter mixture. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the bread is golden brown. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and serve warm.
