Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Christmas Tree

Create a festive Christmas tree cheese bread using Pillsbury™ biscuits filled with cheddar, mozzarella, and Colby-Monterey Jack cheeses. Perfect for holiday gatherings and guaranteed to impress!
Ingredients:
  • 6 string cheese mozzarella cheese sticks (0.75 oz each)
  • 5 extra-sharp cheddar cheese sticks (0.75 oz each)
  • 5 Colby-Monterey Jack cheese sticks (0.75 oz each)
  • 2 cans (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (8 Count)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
  • 1 can (15 oz) Muir Glen™ organic pizza sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large 18x14-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut each cheese stick into 4 pieces to yield a total of 64 pieces. Separate each can of dough into 8 biscuits. Gently split each biscuit in half to create 32 biscuit rounds. Flatten each round into a 4-inch circle.
  • Place 2 slices of cheese in the center of each biscuit round. Fold the edges up and over the cheese, pinching firmly to seal. Refer to the photo for guidance as you arrange the biscuits around the cheeses on a baking sheet in a tree shape, starting with the trunk and building up to the top.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat butter uncovered on High for 30 to 60 seconds until melted. Stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this flavorful mixture on the tops of the biscuits and bake for 29 to 33 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Garnish with freshly cut chives. Microwave pizza sauce in a small bowl on High for 60 to 90 seconds, stirring halfway through, until warmed. Serve cheese-stuffed biscuits with the warm pizza sauce.
