Creamy, cheesy, and slightly sweet mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 6 Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 1.6666666269302 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, combine the potatoes and sweet potatoes with enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15 minutes until they are tender but still firm. Remove from the heat and drain.
  • Turn on the oven broiler to get it nice and hot.
  • Combine mashed potatoes with butter, heavy cream, chicken bouillon, brown sugar, and pepper in a large bowl. Spread the mixture into a medium baking dish and sprinkle Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  • Place in the preheated oven and broil until the cheese is melted and lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
