Alcohol-infused relish with bold flavor compliments juicy turkey slices perfectly.
Ingredients:
  • 350ml water
  • 2 x 105g pkts dried cherries
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 1.25 gm arrowroot
  • 20.00 gm cold water
  • 40.00 ml port
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, simmer cherries, water, and sugar, stirring occasionally, until cherries soften, about 10 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix arrowroot with cold water. Stir it into the cherry mixture and cook while stirring for 1 minute until the mixture thickens. Take it off the heat and stir in the port. Serve.
