Sweet and salty cherry pretzel dessert: crunchy crust, cream cheese layer, canned cherry pie filling.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine pretzels, rich melted butter, and sweet sugar in a medium bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake until lightly browned, approximately 10 minutes. Allow it to cool completely before proceeding.
  • Combine cream cheese and confectioners' sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Gently mix in whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust and top evenly with cherry pie filling.
