Indulgent fruit cobbler with a buttery crust made effortlessly from a mix.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 box (16.9 oz) Betty Crocker™ Wild Blueberry Muffin & Quick Bread Mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 can (15 oz) pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup, drained
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine the undrained blueberries (from the muffin mix), pie filling, and sweet cherries in an ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish.
  • Combine muffin mix, milk, oil, eggs, and lemon peel in a medium bowl until just moistened. Spoon 12 large dollops of batter over the fruit and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for 28 to 32 minutes, or until the top is perfectly golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
