Transform frozen cherries and berries into a luscious coulis to elevate your desserts.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups frozen berries and cherries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer frozen fruit with sugar and salt until fruit is thawed and just warmed through, about 5 minutes. Be careful not to boil.
  • Add the mixture to a small food processor and blend until creamy, about 15 to 20 seconds.
  • Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer, pressing down on the solids with a spoon. Then, mix in the lemon juice and serve the coulis.
