Chewy granola bars loaded with oats, nuts, honey, and dried fruit for a delightful snack.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup peanut butter
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • 1.6666667461395 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  • Combine creamy peanut butter and rich melted butter in a bowl until velvety. Incorporate brown sugar, honey, corn syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt; mix well. Fold in applesauce to the peanut butter blend.
  • In a bowl, mix together oats and flour until oats are coated with flour. Add peanuts and raisins to the oat mixture. Pour peanut butter mixture over the oats and stir until everything is evenly coated. Spread the mixture into the baking dish.
  • Preheat the oven and bake for 10 minutes until edges start to brown. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted. Spread the melted chocolate with a spoon or spatula. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
