Chewy chocolate chip cookies with crispy edges, enhanced with tahini for a subtle nutty taste. Top with chopped nuts for added crunch.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup tahini
  • 1.125 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in tahini. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then beat for 3 to 5 more minutes.
  • Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl. Mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Cover the dough and refrigerate overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Use a cookie scoop to form 1-inch balls of cookie dough and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges are lightly browned, 12 to 15 minutes.
