Chex® Holiday Cutouts

Whip up a speedy sweet snack using Chex® cereal for a delicious treat - try Fast Track Snack Squares tip!
Ingredients:
  • 11 cups Rice Chex™, Corn Chex™, Honey Nut Chex™ or Frosted Chex™ cereal
  • 1 bag (16 oz) large marshmallows (about 72)
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting, if desired
  • Candy-coated chocolate candies, if desired
Instructions:
  • Grease a 15x10x1-inch pan with butter. Crush the cereal coarsely by placing it in a plastic bag or between sheets of waxed paper, then using a rolling pin.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat marshmallows and butter on High for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute until smooth. Mix in crushed cereal. Press firmly into a pan using a buttered spoon or hands. Allow to cool completely for about 15 minutes.
  • Use holiday-shaped cutters (like flags, stars, pumpkins, ghosts, trees, snowmen, dreidels, stars, eggs, bunnies, etc.) to cut into shapes that are 2 1/2 to 3 inches in size. Add frosting and candies for decoration.
