Chicago-style all-beef hot dog on poppy seed bun with mustard, relish, onion, tomato, pickle, sport peppers, and celery salt - no ketchup.
Ingredients:
  • 1 all-beef hot dog
  • 1 poppy seed hot dog bun
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet green pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 4 tomato wedges
  • 1 dill pickle spear
  • 2 sport peppers
  • 1 dash celery salt
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil water in pot. Once boiling, simmer, add hot dog, and heat for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Steam the poppy seed bun in the pot using a steamer basket until warm, approximately 2 minutes.
  • Load up your hot dog with toppings in this order: mustard, relish, onion, tomato, pickle, peppers, and sprinkle with celery salt. Tuck tomato wedges next to the hot dog on one side and place the pickle on the other side. Avoid using ketchup!
