Spicy cream cheese-filled bacon-wrapped chicken tenders - a flavorful addition to any buffet!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped green onion, or to taste
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
  • 8 chicken tenders
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 8 toothpicks
  • 6 tablespoons pepper jelly
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a wire rack on a baking sheet.
  • Combine the cream cheese, green onion, jalapeno pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl and blend them together.
  • Flatten chicken tenders using a meat tenderizer. Spoon 3 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each tender and fold them to create pouches.
  • Wrap each pouch with a slice of savory bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Drizzle over some zesty pepper jelly and place them elegantly on the wire rack.
  • Cook in the hot oven until bacon is crispy and chicken juices are clear, approximately 35 minutes.
