Creamy dill and caper sauce smothered chicken breasts seasoned with lemon pepper and garlic powder - a family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle chicken breasts with a flavorful blend of lemon pepper, salt, dill weed, and garlic powder.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add chicken breasts and increase heat to medium-high. Cook the chicken, turning frequently, until browned, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 5 to 7 minutes until the breasts are cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a warm serving platter and cover with foil.
  • Place the skillet back on the stove and turn up the heat to high. Add the whipping cream and whisk constantly until it thickens into a sauce, approximately 3 minutes. Take off the heat, then mix in the capers. Pour the sauce over the chicken and enjoy.
