Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu: Chicken breasts stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese, coated in seasoned bread crumbs, and baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 0.5 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C, then generously coat a 7x11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Flatten chicken breasts to 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Season both sides of the chicken pieces with a pinch of salt and pepper. Top each breast with 1 slice of Swiss cheese and 1 slice of ham.
  • Roll each chicken breast tightly and fasten it with toothpicks to keep the delicious fillings inside!
  • Place the seasoned chicken in the baking dish and generously coat it with crunchy bread crumbs.
  • Roast in the oven until the chicken is cooked through, for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Take the dish out of the oven and elegantly crown each breast with a luxurious half slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Continue baking in the oven until the cheese is beautifully melted, for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks and serve right away.
