Make a delicious and easy French-inspired dish by combining chicken, cheese, and ham for incredible taste with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 (12-oz.) jar chicken gravy
  • 5 oz. (3 cups) uncooked dumpling egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 (4-oz.) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 4 (1-oz.) slices Swiss cheese, halved
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a cozy 375°F. In a large bowl, whisk together broth, sour cream, and gravy until smooth. Add noodles, peas, ham, paprika, and a hint of pepper. Transfer mixture to a 2-quart casserole dish. No need to grease it.
  • Lay the chicken on top of the noodle mixture, then generously sprinkle with seasoned salt and the remaining 1/8 teaspoon of pepper. Cover the dish with foil.
  • Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes with a cover.
  • Bake uncovered until chicken is fork-tender, juices run clear, and noodles are thoroughly heated, about 20 minutes.
  • Top each chicken breast half with 2 melty cheese slices and bake for an extra 5 minutes until gooey and delicious.
