Indulgent chicken casserole with ham, noodles, creamy sauce, and cheesy bread crumbs.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles
  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 8 ounces cooked ham, cubed
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, cubed
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can reduced-fat, reduced-sodium cream of chicken soup (such as Campbell's® Healthy Request)
  • 0.5 cup 2% milk
  • 0.5 cup light sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • 1. Boil a pot of generously salted water. Add egg noodles and cook until al dente, about 7 to 9 minutes. Drain and place noodles in the casserole dish.
  • Layer chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese over the noodles.
  • Combine condensed soup, milk, and sour cream in a medium bowl until smooth; pour over noodle mixture in the casserole dish.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then stir in bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese until well coated, about 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle the mixture over the casserole.
  • Bake in the hot oven until the casserole is bubbling and lightly browned, approximately 30 minutes.
  • Let the dish cool for a bit before serving.
