Elevate your weeknight with a delicious and easy-to-make dish using basic ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups uncooked dried penne pasta
  • 3 squares Italian Herb Saute Express® Saute Starter
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare pasta as directed on package; then drain.
  • Gently melt 2 Saute Express® squares in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat until bubbles start to form.
  • Incorporate succulent chicken.
  • Saute the chicken for 13-18 minutes until both sides are beautifully golden brown and it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Then, remove it from the skillet.
  • Melt the last Saute Express® square in a skillet. Add onions and cook for 1-2 minutes until softened. Mix in pasta and tomatoes until well coated.
  • Slice the chicken and arrange it over the bed of pasta. Finish by generously sprinkling with fragrant Parmesan cheese before serving.
