Cheesy chicken-filled crescent rolls: a simple and versatile dish for any gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onion
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 (4 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • 1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until sizzling. 2. Sauté the chicken until fully cooked and the juices run clear, approximately 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). 3. Let the chicken cool until manageable, then cut it into chunks.
  • Combine the chicken, cream cheese, mushrooms, green onion, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough and spoon chicken mixture onto the center of each piece. Fold the three corners up to create a pocket and press edges to seal.
  • Bake until beautifully golden for approximately 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
