Cheesy bacon ranch chicken pasta bake - a tasty family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (16 ounce) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, divided
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 1. Boil generously salted water in a large pot. Cook bow-tie pasta, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 12 minutes.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in cream cheese and ranch dressing mix until smooth. Slowly pour in milk, then add Monterey Jack cheese. Cook until cheese melts and sauce thickens, about 5 to 10 minutes. Finally, crumble 6 slices of bacon and stir into the sauce.
  • Toss together cooked pasta and shredded chicken in a large bowl. Pour sauce over and mix thoroughly. Transfer mixture to the baking dish and sprinkle with Cheddar Jack cheese. Crumble the 2 slices of bacon over the top before baking.
  • Bake until the cheese is gooey and bubbly, typically around 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
