Savory casserole with spicy taco sauce, ground beef, veggies, noodles, and gooey cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chili
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
  • 0.25 cup taco sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn
  • 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 0.25 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef and onion until the meat is browned and onion is tender, about 5-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Stir in celery, chili, tomatoes, taco sauce, and corn. Bring to a simmer over low heat and let it all meld together beautifully.
  • While the noodles cook, follow package instructions. Once cooked, transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix in the meat mixture, then sprinkle with cheese on top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until cheese is fully melted and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
