Double the fun with this crowd-pleasing recipe perfect for any gathering!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (7 oz) spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (19 oz) Progresso™ red kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can (8 oz) Muir Glen™ organic tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (5 oz)
Instructions:
  • Prepare spaghetti according to package instructions. Simultaneously, in a 3-quart saucepan, cook beef and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and onion is tender; drain any excess fat.
  • Combine tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, and salt in the pot. Simmer uncovered over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until reaching desired thickness.
  • Drain the spaghetti and divide it among dinner plates. Top each plate with the beef mixture, then sprinkle with cheese.
