Marinate Chinese chicken wings in soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic powder overnight, then bake until crispy and flavorful.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 5 pounds chicken wings, split and tips discarded
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with the soy sauce mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect bake.
  • Transfer the chicken wings along with the flavorful marinade into a 9x13-inch baking dish and securely cover it with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes until thoroughly heated. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Serve piping hot.
