Tangy mandarin orange salad with crispy ramen, almonds, and romaine lettuce in a zesty dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles with seasoning packet
  • 0.5 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) can mandarin orange segments, drained
  • 0.25 cup slivered almonds
Instructions:
  • Combine vinegar, sugar, and oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high until sugar dissolves, about 1 minute. Stir until well combined, then allow to cool.
  • Crush the ramen noodles in their packages and add them to the salad dressing.
  • Combine crisp romaine lettuce with sweet oranges, crunchy almonds, and drizzle with tangy salad dressing in a large salad bowl.
