Irresistible sweet, salty, crunchy chocolate slice.
Ingredients:
  • 110g (1 bag) choc-coated pretzels
  • 2 pkts Oreo Classic biscuits
  • 165g butter, at room temperature
  • 520g peanut butter
  • 199.50 gm icing sugar mixture
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 64.38 gm milk
  • 100g dark chocolate
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 20cm square cake pan by greasing and lining it with baking paper.
  • Begin by melting 125g of butter. Next, use a food processor to finely crush the biscuits. Combine the melted butter with the crushed biscuits in the processor until a smooth mixture is formed. Firmly spread this mixture over the base of a pan. Allow it to chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or until it becomes firm.
  • Combine peanut butter, icing sugar, remaining butter, and milk using electric beaters until mixture is homogeneous and slightly crumbly in texture. Press mixture firmly over the biscuit base using a spoon. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  • Combine the chocolate and oil in a heatproof bowl and microwave on medium heat until melted, stirring occasionally. Spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture and neatly line the pretzels on top. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour to solidify. Use the pretzels as a guide to cut the dessert slab into small pieces for serving.
