Indulgent cookies bursting with chocolate, peanut butter, and pretzel flavors - a crowd-pleasing treat!
Ingredients:
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 75g butter, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 118.80 gm brown sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 250.00 ml plain flour
  • 2.00 gm baking powder
  • Extra 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 130.00 gm smooth peanut butter
  • 24 (1 1/4 cups) pretzels
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C (160C fan-forced) and prepare 4 large baking trays by lining them with baking paper.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt chocolate and butter together until smooth, stirring occasionally for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until frothy. Gradually whisk in the melted chocolate mixture. Stir in flour and baking powder until well combined. Mix in additional chocolate for extra decadence.
  • Drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared trays, spacing them about 6cm apart. Add a dollop of peanut butter on the center of each cookie. Place a pretzel on top of each one. Bake two trays at a time for 12 to 15 minutes until the cookies have cracked surfaces but are still soft. Let them cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or cold.
