Transform cookie dough with caramel, peanut butter, and peanuts into irresistible snack bars.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg
  • 36 caramels (from 14-oz bag), unwrapped
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups peanuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (350°F for dark or nonstick pans).
  • Combine cookie mix, oil, water, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into the bottom of an ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish.
  • Bake until the crust is a beautiful golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, combine caramels and sweetened condensed milk over medium-low heat, stirring often to prevent burning. Mix in peanut butter and stir constantly for 1 minute. Gently fold in 1 cup of peanuts.
  • Drizzle caramel mixture on top of the baked crust, then sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of peanuts evenly. Allow it to cool for 2 hours before cutting into 6 rows by 4 rows.
