Banana slices drizzled with chocolate hazelnut liqueur sauce in a decadent crepe dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup whole or 2% milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons hazelnut liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white flour
  • 0.5 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon whole or 2% milk
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions:
  • Combine 1/2 cup milk, 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter, egg yolk, vanilla, and 2 teaspoons hazelnut liqueur in a medium bowl. Whisk in 1 tablespoon cocoa until fully mixed. Then add 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar and whisk until combined. Finally, gradually whisk in the flour until fully incorporated. Set the mixture aside.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1/2 tablespoon butter. Mix in 1 tablespoon milk and 2 teaspoons hazelnut liqueur. Add 1 tablespoon cocoa and 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar, stirring until combined. Keep warm over very low heat.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan or crepe pan sprayed with cooking spray over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan, swirling to create a thin disk. Cook for approximately 2 minutes, flip, and cook for another minute.
  • Lay the crepe on a plate. Add a quarter of sliced bananas onto the crepe, drizzle a quarter of the chocolate sauce over the bananas, then roll or fold the crepe. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Repeat the process for additional crepes. Serve them warm.
