Chocolate Crepes with Banana

Decadent dessert crepes filled with bananas, chocolate chips, and cream cheese. Easy to make and irresistibly sweet.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.66666668653488 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter, or more as needed
  • 3 bananas, sliced into small pieces
  • 1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cream cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat a small skillet over medium heat.
  • Using an electric mixer, combine sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy. Gradually add milk, egg, and egg yolk, mixing well after each addition. Slowly incorporate flour into the batter until smooth and lump-free.
  • Grease the hot skillet. Add 1/3 cup batter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on one side. Flip and cook until golden, for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Repeat for the rest of the batter.
  • In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in bananas and cook until soft, about 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Combine chocolate chips and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl, microwave for 1 to 2 minutes until melted. Stir until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of the chocolate mixture to the bananas; reserve the rest for later. Mix bananas with the chocolate mixture and let sit for 1 more minute.
  • Fill crepes with indulgent chocolate-banana mixture, fold them over, and generously drizzle with the rest of the decadent chocolate.
