Indulgent chocolate pumpkin bread perfect for holidays or anytime.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 0.66666668653488 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 (16 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C, gas mark 4) and generously coat two 9x5-inch loaf pans with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well, then add flour and continue mixing until batter forms. Gently fold in chocolate chips, then evenly distribute the batter between the 2 loaf pans.
  • Bake at the set temperature until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour. Allow the bread to cool in the pans for 15 minutes before removing.
