Indulge in our rich and irresistible Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread drizzled with mocha glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant espresso or coffee granules or crystals
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and grease only the bottom of a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine all bread ingredients in a large bowl, stirring until fully mixed. Gently fold in chocolate chips, then transfer the batter to the pan.
  • Bake for 45 to 60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Prepare the Glaze by mixing the Glaze ingredients in a small bowl until you achieve a thick, drizzly consistency, adjusting with more powdered sugar or water as necessary.
  • Drizzle the glaze smoothly over the cooled bread. Allow it to set fully before cutting.
