Elevate classic chocolate chip cookies with a tasty granola twist.
Ingredients:
  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 0.5 cup Crisco® Baking Sticks All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.75 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2.5 cups prepared granola
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and generously coat baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar until creamy using an electric mixer. Mix in eggs, milk, and vanilla. In a separate medium bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well. Stir in granola and chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 9 to 10 minutes until bottoms are lightly browned. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
