Light and delicious chocolate chip sour cream cake - quick and easy!
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Begin by preheating your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Cream together sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each egg into the mixture before adding the next. Mix in vanilla with the final egg.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Add this mixture and sour cream into the butter mixture alternately, mixing until combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips. Transfer batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
