Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease and flour a 9-inch pan.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and chocolate chips in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in the eggs until well combined. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the batter into a 9-inch pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and springs back when touched.
