Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1.5 cups bran flakes cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, combine sugar, pumpkin, oil, and eggs. Mix in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, cloves, and ginger until well combined. Gently fold in bran flakes, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
  • Continue baking in the warm oven until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean, around 1 hour.
