Elevate classic bread pudding with decadent chocolate croissants for a French-inspired twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 3 pack Chocolate Bakery Croissants, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 4 eggs
  • 300ml thickened light cream
  • 193.13 gm milk
  • 53.75 gm caster sugar
  • 12.00 gm icing sugar, to serve
Instructions:
  • Gently oil a 5cm deep, 17cm x 26cm oven-safe dish.
  • Place the croissants in a dish. Whisk together eggs, cream, milk, and sugar until combined in a jug. Pour the mixture over the croissant pieces. Cover and let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour (or refrigerate if it's a very warm day).
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the pudding for 40 to 45 minutes until the custard is set. Lightly dust with icing sugar and serve warm.
