Make a quick chocolate dessert in 10 minutes using the microwave. Customize with your favorite toppings.
Ingredients:
  • 40g (1/4 cup) self-raising flour
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 5.20 gm shredded coconut
  • 15.20 gm Dark Chocolate Bits
  • 2.20 gm vanilla extract
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) milk
  • Mini marshmallows, to top
  • Chopped roasted unsalted peanuts, to sprinkle
  • Vanilla ice cream, to serve
  • Chocolate sauce, to drizzle
Instructions:
  • In a 300ml heatproof mug, mix flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, coconut, and chocolate chips. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Gently incorporate oil and milk until well combined.
  • Place your mug on a heatproof plate. Microwave on High for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Add a handful of mini marshmallows on top and microwave for another 30 seconds or until the cake is cooked through. Serve with a sprinkle of peanuts, a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, and a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce.
