Indulge in a simple and delightful chocolate fondue for any size gathering - a guaranteed hit.
Ingredients:
  • 12 ounces of milk or dark chocolate (chips or roughly chopped if from a block)
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) of heavy whipping cream
  • A pinch of salt
  • Dip-ables such as strawberries, banana pieces cut into 1-inch chunks, dried appricots, candied ginger, apple pieces
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the cream with a pinch of salt until small bubbles form and it starts to gently simmer.
  • Remove from heat and add the chocolate: Take off the heat, add the chocolate, and whisk until smooth.
  • For an enticing presentation, transfer the chocolate mix to a warm fondue pot or serve directly from the pot. Surround the pot with assorted fruit and other dip-ables on a platter. Use a fondue fork or skewer to dip the items into the luscious melted chocolate and enjoy promptly.
