Value-packed chocolate gelato that's easy to make and delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 750ml (3 cups) milk
  • 20.00 gm cornflour
  • 97.50 gm good-quality cocoa
Instructions:
  • Combine 1 cup of milk with sugar, cornflour, and cocoa, whisking until smooth.
  • Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan and heat until boiling.
  • Pour the creamy milk over the rich chocolate blend and gently mix until fully incorporated. Transfer the velvety mixture back to the saucepan and continue stirring over gentle heat for approximately 10 minutes, or until it reaches a luxurious thick consistency.
  • Transfer the mixture into a shallow container and allow it to freeze until the edges are solidified.
  • Take the mixture out of the freezer and whip it with an electric beater until creamy. Transfer the mixture back into the container and freeze again. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times. Alternatively, use an ice-cream machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.
