Indulgent chocolate hazelnut spread wrapped in crisp phyllo dough, ideal for any special celebration.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package phyllo dough, thawed if frozen
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 0.5 (13 ounce) jar chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lay a sheet of delicate phyllo pastry on your work surface, then gracefully brush one half of it with rich, melted butter before gently folding it over.
  • Spread a luxurious 1 tablespoon of chocolate-hazelnut spread in a decadent 1/2-inch strip, leaving a 1-inch border from the bottom and sides of the folded phyllo. Generously slather butter over the rest of the dough for added richness and flavor.
  • Enclose the chocolate layer in phyllo dough by folding the sides and rolling into a cigar shape, starting from the bottom. Transfer to a baking sheet and continue with the remaining phyllo, butter, and chocolate-hazelnut spread.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
