Chocolate hazelnut puddings

Indulgent chocolate bread pudding with hazelnuts, surprisingly low in calories and gentle on blood sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices Burgen bread, crusts trimmed
  • 36.00 gm Nutella
  • 2 eggs
  • 10.00 gm custard powder
  • 112.50 gm sugar
  • 250ml milk
  • 40.00 ml chopped hazelnuts
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to 170°C. - Spread the bread generously with Nutella and cut it into 2cm squares. - Place the Nutella-coated bread squares in 4 ramekins with 1-cup capacity each. - Arrange the ramekins in a baking dish and pour water into the dish, filling it halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  • Combine eggs, custard powder, and sugar; whisk until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and sprinkle with hazelnuts. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until puffed and golden. Serve hot.
