Indulgent one-bowl chocolate cake, moist and ready in an hour, a simple and easy clean-up dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Combine sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa in a large bowl. Pour in water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla, then whisk by hand until the batter is smooth. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, approximately 40 minutes.
