Decadent chocolate cookies with roasted hazelnuts, 3 types of chocolate chips, and a touch of coffee essence.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur
  • 1 cup finely chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl using an electric mixer until soft and creamy. Mix in the eggs, vanilla extract, and coffee liqueur. Slowly incorporate the flour mixture into the butter-sugar mixture until well combined. Fold in the hazelnuts, semisweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips evenly. Spoon rounded teaspoons of dough onto baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the oven until edges are lightly browned, for 8 to 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
