Make delicious, crunchy chocolate cookies easily.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1.6666667461395 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup corn syrup
Instructions:
  • Melt the chocolate chips until smooth, then let them cool. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Using an electric mixer on medium-low speed, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla, corn syrup, and egg, and mix until fully incorporated. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually beat in the melted chocolate. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until firm for about 30 minutes.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls, coat with sugar, then place on ungreased baking sheets with spacing in between. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until lightly browned around the edges, for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheets for 1 minute before transferring to wire racks.
