Elevate your status with this addictive treat of caramel and chocolate coated pecans and cereal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 8 cups corn puffs snacks
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F. Combine melted butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Spread corn puffs snacks and pecans in a 15x10x1-inch pan. Drizzle the butter mixture over the snacks and pecans, stirring to coat evenly.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  • Transfer 6 cups of the snacks mixture onto waxed paper. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the rest of the hot mixture in the pan, then toss until chocolate is melted and all pieces are fully coated. Let both mixtures cool completely for about 10 minutes.
  • Combine the cooled mixtures in a large bowl or container.
