Chocolate-Cherry Glazed Cookie Bites

Make indulgent fudgy chocolate cherry cookies effortlessly.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 24 maraschino cherries with stems, drained on paper towels (from two 10-oz. jars)
Instructions:
  • Prepare 24 miniature muffin cups with paper baking cups or cooking spray. Mix cookie mix, cherries, oil, cherry juice, almond extract, and egg until a soft dough forms. Scoop dough into each muffin cup, filling about 3/4 full.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the dough is set. Allow the cookies to cool for 20 minutes before removing them from the pan and transferring them to a cooling rack.
  • Warm 3/4 cup of frosting on High for 30 seconds, stirring until smooth. Dip cookie tops into the warm frosting and let them set for about 1 minute. Finally, top each cookie with a cherry for a delicious finish.
