Transform fresh raspberry jam into a decadent chocolate-raspberry icing to elevate your chocolate cake with a delightful fruity twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups fresh raspberries
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, or more as needed
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Combine powdered sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder in a bowl. Whisk vigorously until a smooth and luscious mixture forms. Taste and adjust the flavorings to your liking.
  • Whisk vigorously until the icing is thick and creamy. Allow it to cool before using.
