Gooey cinnamon-sugar cookies with hidden chocolate chunks for a delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 20 Hershey’s™ milk chocolate nuggets, unwrapped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the mixture in another small bowl for later use.
  • Combine cookie mix, flour, softened butter, and egg in a large bowl and mix until soft dough forms. Shape into 20 (1 1/2-inch) balls, flatten into 2 1/2-inch circles, and press 1 chocolate into the center of each. Enclose the chocolate with dough, reshape into balls, and roll in the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer from baking sheet to a rack. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of reserved sugar and cinnamon mix while still warm. Let cool for 30 minutes before storing in an airtight container.
